The Journey Volume 3: The Place I Call Home

Hello and welcome to the Nathan Schaffer Photography newsletter!

Thank you for your interest in my artwork and the stories behind each photograph. Art is more than a sculpture or picture. Art tells a story, inspires emotion, and allows us to see the world from a different perspective. I am excited to show you the world through my lens. This newsletter will focus on my adventures and artwork while making sure you’re the first to learn about new pieces, promotions, and giveaways. Please continue with your interest and invite your friends and family to sign up as a contact on my website, www.schafferphoto.com, so they may join in the adventure.

This unique piece of art features a gorgeous view of the very popular Horsetooth Reservoir located along the west side of Fort Collins, Colorado. People are attracted to this reservoir from all over the region who are in search of a place to play in water, hike and bike numerous trails, and relax while being surrounded by some of the area's most beautiful natural scenery. The red sandstone hogback ridge, multiple tranquil coves, and towering pine trees help make this area unequaled in beauty. Check out Lory State Park if you'd enjoy hikes with similar views. Keep your eyes open for rattle snakes in the spring and summer months. Just last week, I encountered one of these venomous serpents on a trail during a 3 mile hike in Lory SP. What an exciting day! Always be aware of your surroundings! The photograph I've created has an oil paint effect, a white border, a red title at the bottom, and a glossy finish.

Sincerely,

Nathan Schaffer
